Ooka Island Books includes an early reading library collection with a total of 95 book titles! The Fluency Series is the last 20 book titles in the Ooka Island library collection and is comprised of four engaging sub-series that new readers love! Ooka Island Books are effective to teach literacy and the Fluency Series includes a wide range of genres, descriptive text, varied topics, complex sentences, and vocabulary. Ooka Island Books are also leveled and sequenced in gradually increasing levels of language difficulty. #1 Camp Palooza - The Fluency Level I series, Camp Palooza, tells about the Park Street kids’ learning adventures at day camp. Each day there is a different theme at the park such as fitness or learning about the environment.

#2 Fairytales and Poems - The Fluency Level II series, Fairytales and Poems, contain classic stories told in a unique way. In this series, the Park Street kids form a book club where they read and discuss fairytales and poems with each other.
