Guided Play with Adaptive Reading Activities

Each learning environment on Ooka Island is presented in an engaging, fun format and embedded with an adaptive technology to ensure skill mastery.

Guided Play consists of a variety of adventurous learning quests on Ooka Island. Each activity is carefully leveled and sequenced according to the learn-to-read program based on the Ooka Method. Although the program begins with the assumption that the child is a non-reader, Ooka Island’s READirect technology will immediately and continuously adapt to each child’s pace and skill level in order to create a customized learning path to ensure skill mastery. Guided Play is the very first component of the Ooka Island Learning Flow Cycle and lasts for 20 minutes.
